During a typical 6 week session of pottery classes you will create with clay using a variety of pottery techniques. You will learn the art of hand building pottery through completion of several projects using coil, pinch and slab construction. All students will have the opportunity to throw on the pottery wheel and practice weekly. You will apply glaze using brush on and dipped glazes as well as underglazes. Plan on having fun in a relaxed social setting! We supply all the materials. 

This pottery Easter Basket can be decorated in anyway you like. You will construct and complete your project. we will fire, glaze and refire so your basket will be ready for Easter.

You will use clay to handbuild your own Dryad, or tree nymph, using the pottery tools and leaf cut outs we have available. We will teach you how to build a sturdy wall hanging perfect for indoors or outdoors. Once you create your treeman, you will need to return to glaze it which incurs additional glazing and firing fees. We expect the trun around to be 2 weeks for a slow dry and bisque fire. After you glaze, 1 week later- your project will be ready to take home. This will be a fun and unique project!
